Care of mattress protectors

Mattress protectors are robust and suitable for everyday use:

• washable at up to 60 °C – important for killing mites
• suitable for tumble drying on a low to medium setting
• no ironing required

Avoid fabric softener. It settles as a film over the functional fibres or the membrane and reduces their moisture absorption and breathability – precisely the properties that make a good mattress protector. You should also avoid detergents with optical brighteners. A high-quality liquid detergent is the better choice.
