Caring for your Abyss towels
So that Abyss towels lastingly keep their volume and absorbency, the right care is decisive:
- wash before first use, ideally at 60 degrees
- wash regularly at 40 to 60 degrees
- no fabric softener: it settles as a film over the terry loops and considerably reduces absorbency – the most common care mistake of all
- use liquid detergent without optical brighteners, especially with coloured towels
- no chlorine bleach
- dry in the tumble dryer on a medium setting – this makes the loops especially fluffy and the volume especially airy
- always observe the care label
