Over 80 years of manufactory tradition from Merklingen

Production still takes place in Merklingen on the Swabian Alb – a location known for textile tradition. Graser is thus one of the few German manufactories that still produce entirely in Germany. Founded in the 1930s, the company grew out of the tradition of Swabian linen weaving. When this declined in importance in the 1960s, Graser had already committed consistently in the 1970s to high-quality Mako Satin – to this day a hallmark of the brand, recognisable by the unmistakable sheen and the silky feel.

Through decades of experience and excellent seamstresses and seamsters, Graser has brought the artful workmanship of embroidery, lace, hemstitching, standing seams and pin tucks perfected. Only a few manufactories in Europe still master these demanding techniques to this depth and consistency.

Mako Satin

The centrepiece of the house and the actual reason why Graser holds this position in the premium bed linen market. For the Mako Satin Bed Linen, only the highest-quality Swiss Mako Satin used. The silk-like surface impresses with intense sheen, high suppleness and a light, elegant structure. Mako Satin is easy-care and usable all year round – cooling in summer, smoothly warm in winter. Linen

Linen is particularly breathable and provides a pleasantly dry sleeping climate in summer. • first wash at 60 degrees on a gentle cycle to fix the colours optimally
• then wash cycles at 40 degrees
• with coloured designs, use a colour or delicate detergent without optical brighteners
• no fabric softener – it reduces breathability and impairs absorbency
• no chlorine bleach
• before washing, turn covers inside out and close zips
• dry in the tumble dryer at a low temperature or in the air
• ironing and mangling at a medium temperature is possible – with elaborate embroidery we recommend careful ironing inside out
