JOOP fitted sheets in premium cotton and their properties

All JOOP fitted sheets are made from 100% cotton and are therefore breathable, skin-friendly and pleasantly soft. In addition, the high-quality fitted sheets offer excellent moisture absorption and the ability to release this moisture into the surrounding air. This ensures a pleasant and, above all, dry sleeping surface at all times, with nothing standing in the way of a restorative night's sleep. The fitted sheets are also ideally suited to people with sensitive skin and allergy sufferers.

Care of JOOP fitted sheets

We recommend washing your fitted sheet at 60°C, particularly for the first wash and all subsequent washes. This is not only for hygienic reasons, but is above all important for colour intensity. At a temperature of 60°C, the dyes used are fixed and will remain vibrant for many years. A liquid colour detergent without optical brighteners should always be used.

You should also avoid using fabric softener. Fabric softeners coat the fibres of the fitted sheet and can cause it to lose its absorbency.

After washing, you can either hang your fitted sheet to air dry or tumble dry it at a low temperature.

JOOP fitted sheets in various sizes

The fitted sheets are available in the most common German sizes and are broadly divided into widths for single beds and double beds.

Single bed

In Germany, one of the most common sizes for single beds is the fitted sheet in 100×200 cm. A bed measuring 140×200 cm is also frequently considered a comfort single bed.

Double bed

German double beds generally start at 160×200 cm. The most popular sizes are 180×200 cm and 200×200 cm. As mattresses should be tailored to the individual user, double beds often consist of two single mattresses. This means you can freely choose whether to fit each mattress with its own separate sheet or to cover the full width with a single fitted sheet.
