Lampe Berger Lamps
Catalytic lamps, gift sets and diffusers by Maison Berger Paris
Lampe Berger lamps – catalysis since 1898
Lampe Berger lamps purify the air in your home while spreading fragrance. The Lampe Berger was developed in 1898 by Maurice Berger, originally to purify the air in hospitals. It is made by Maison Berger Paris, based in Normandy; the lamps and fragrances carry the Made in France label. According to the manufacturer, the lamp does not mask odours but breaks down odour molecules through catalysis.
Delivery within Germany is free from €50, international delivery is free from €200. Orders to Switzerland and other non-EU countries are invoiced without VAT. For advice, call us on +49 (0) 221 630 606 12.
How does a Lampe Berger work?
A Lampe Berger consists of a glass vessel holding the fragrance liquid, a wick and a catalytic burner. You light the burner briefly and blow out the flame after about two minutes. The burner then continues to glow without a flame and releases fragrance. Before first use, the burner should soak in the fragrance for long enough; detailed instructions come with every lamp. Never leave the lamp unattended and keep it out of the reach of children.
Catalytic lamps and gift sets
The catalytic lamps come in many glass shapes, such as DARE, FACETTE, JUNGLE or GLACON MOUNTAIN. To get started, choose one of the gift sets in a round or square shape, which include the lamp, burner and fragrance. As accessories, we stock replacement burners, snuffer caps and funnels for refilling.
Diffusers and reed diffusers
If you would rather not have a flame, choose a diffuser. The reed diffusers, such as AMBER POWDER, WILD FLOWER or Amphora SWEET FIG, spread fragrance evenly without electricity. The Night & Day diffusers come with the Aroma fragrances WAKE-UP and DREAM. Dedicated versions such as BOUQUET BATHROOM, TABACCO or PETS are tailored to specific rooms and odours.
Fragrances for your Lampe Berger
You will find the fragrance liquids for catalytic lamps under Lampe Berger fragrances, including classic scents, the neutral AIR PUR and the Aroma line. Browse the full brand shop at Lampe Berger, and find more ideas under home fragrance and home accessories.
Lampe Berger as a gift
A gift set makes a popular present because it contains everything needed for the first fragrance. A second fragrance is a lovely addition for switching scents with the seasons.
