Children's bed linen made from 100% cotton

Only the best for the littlest ones – Lexington children's bed linen is, of course, made from 100% finest cotton and feels wonderfully soft on baby skin. The natural fibres of the cotton are extremely breathable and absorb moisture excellently. In this way, the children's bed linen ensures a dry, pleasant bed climate and relaxed sleep throughout the night.

Cotton is considered particularly gentle and kind to the skin and is therefore ideally suited for allergy sufferers and children with sensitive skin. Especially in the first years of life, when the skin barrier is still developing, the quality of the bed linen is an important factor – and not every cotton is the same. Lexington relies on high-quality qualities that withstand many washes without loss of softness or colour intensity.

An eye-catcher in the children's room with Lexington

The Lexington children's collection is distinguished by fine stripes in delicate pastel tones , frequently in blue and pink. These bed linen designs set decorative highlights in the children's room and at the same time inspire your children to play and dream. What makes the designs special: they are neither childishly overloaded nor arbitrarily grown-up, but kept in the typical Lexington design language – clean, classic, Nordic elegant. The lovely thing about it: this bed linen can accompany the child for many years, because it does not look old-fashioned in two years' time.

The understated, aesthetic design language has yet another advantage: it blends harmoniously into a considered living concept. Anyone who also uses Lexington bed linen in the bedroom creates a design-coherent world between the parents' and the children's room.

What size is children's bed linen?

The first bed linen – baby bed linen 100 x 135 cm and 35 x 55 cm

A duvet cover in 100 x 135 cm with a matching pillowcase in 35 x 55 cm is normally offered as a set. This size of children's bed linen can be used in both cot beds and junior beds. Children's beds are usually 70 x 140 cm or, in the smaller version, 60 x 120 cm in size and are recommended for toddlers and children up to about 6 years old.

A tip from practice: it is worth having at least two sets from the outset. Children spill, sweat, get ill – a second set in the cupboard makes everyday life considerably more relaxed, because there is always fresh bed linen to hand.

Caring for Lexington children's bed linen

Lexington children's bed linen can be washed at 60 degrees and is tumble-dryer suitable. Please note:

• use detergent without optical brighteners – this protects the colours and is especially sensible for children's skin
• colour or delicate detergents are a good choice, alternatively special baby detergents for sensitive children's skin
• no fabric softener – it can cause irritation on sensitive children's skin and reduce breathability
• no chlorine bleach
• wash before first use to remove production-related residues
• washing inside out protects prints and colours
• tumble dry on a medium setting

With good care, Lexington children's bed linen often accompanies children for several years and easily withstands even the intensive use of everyday children's life.
