Royfort Bed Linen Qualities at a Glance
SATEEN – smooth with a subtle sheen
Royfort sateen bed linen is made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton with a thread count of 300. The sateen weave gives a smooth, supple surface with a gentle lustre. With ten colours, SATEEN is the largest Royfort line. Read more about the weave in our cotton sateen bed linen.
MUSLIN – double-layered and cloud-soft
Royfort muslin bed linen is made from a double-layer fabric with a natural crinkle in 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. It feels light and dry-soft and never needs ironing – the relaxed look is part of its character. MUSLIN comes in eight colours, including greige, light grey and beige. More brands: muslin bed linen.
CASHMERE – organic cotton with 7% cashmere
Royfort luxury bed linen CASHMERE combines 93% GOTS-certified organic cotton with 7% cashmere at a thread count of 300. The surface is slightly brushed and matt and feels warmer than pure cotton. CASHMERE is available in six colours, including petrol.
LINEN – European linen, handmade
Royfort linen bed linen is made from 100% European linen and, according to Royfort, finished by hand in Portugal. Linen is breathable and moisture-regulating with a relaxed, natural look. Choose from seven colours, including lavender. All brands are on our linen bed linen page.
PERCALE – matt, crisp and fresh
Royfort percale bed linen is woven from long-staple organic cotton in a plain weave with a thread count of 300. Percale is matt, feels cool and crisp and is ideal for warm nights. The colours sage, sand, cream, rose and denim are a little more colourful than the other lines. More on the weave: cotton percale bed linen.
FLANNEL – brushed cotton for cold nights
Royfort flannel bed linen is made from cotton with a brushed surface, which makes it velvety soft and helps it hold warmth without losing breathability. Alongside white, taupe and soft grey there are two checked designs: SCOTTISH and GINGHAM. More winter qualities: flannel bed linen.
SILK – 19 momme mulberry silk
Royfort luxury bed linen SILK is made from 100% OEKO-TEX-certified mulberry silk with a fabric weight of 19 momme. Silk feels cool and supple and comes in white, taupe and soft grey. More brands: silk bedding.
EGYPTIAN COTTON – Giza 94 with 600 threads
Royfort luxury bed linen EGYPTIAN COTTON uses the Giza 94 variety with a fibre length of up to 34 mm. Woven in sateen with a thread count of 600, it becomes silky-smooth with a fine pearly sheen. Available in white and silver.
Which Royfort Bed Linen Suits You?
The choice depends mainly on how warm you sleep and which surface you prefer:
- Smooth and lustrous – SATEEN or EGYPTIAN COTTON; silk is the most luxurious option.
- Warm summer nights – LINEN, PERCALE or SILK, which feel cool and release moisture well.
- Cold winter nights – FLANNEL or CASHMERE, both with a warming, matt surface.
- No ironing – MUSLIN and LINEN look their best unironed.
- Certified organic cotton – SATEEN, MUSLIN, CASHMERE, PERCALE and FLANNEL carry the GOTS label.

Caring for Royfort Bed Linen
According to the manufacturer, Royfort bed linen in sateen, muslin and cashmere can be washed at up to 60 °C and tumble-dried on a low setting. Muslin should be washed at 30 °C the first time. For linen, percale, flannel, silk and Egyptian cotton, please follow the care label; silk always needs a gentle wash.
