Royfort Flat Sheets
Top sheets in sateen, cashmere and linen
Royfort Flat Sheets – Top Sheets in Sateen, Cashmere and Linen
Royfort flat sheets are classic sheets without elastic. They can be laid over the mattress and tucked in, or used hotel-style as a top sheet between sleeper and duvet. Royfort offers three qualities: sateen and cashmere in GOTS-certified organic cotton, and pure linen. According to the manufacturer, all Royfort flat sheets are made by hand in Portugal. The Three Royfort Flat Sheet Qualities
SATEEN – smooth and supple
The Royfort flat sheet SATEEN is made from 100% long-staple organic cotton in a sateen weave with a thread count of 300 and is GOTS certified. It feels smooth and soft with a subtle sheen. Colours: white, taupe, soft grey and deep grey.
CASHMERE – soft with 7% cashmere
The Royfort luxury flat sheet CASHMERE combines 93% organic cotton with 7% cashmere. Its matt, slightly brushed surface is particularly soft and works well as a warmer sheet for the cooler months. Colours: white, taupe and soft grey.
LINEN – naturally cool
The Royfort flat sheet LINEN in 100% linen is breathable and absorbs moisture well. As a top sheet under a light duvet, it is a pleasant solution for hot summer nights. Colours: white, taupe and soft grey.
Flat Sheet or Fitted Sheet?
A fitted sheet has an all-round elastic and sits firmly on the mattress. A flat sheet is a plain piece of fabric that is tucked in or used loosely as a top sheet. Many hotels make their beds with flat sheets because they can be pulled taut and also placed between body and duvet. If you prefer something simpler, choose a Royfort fitted sheet in the same quality.
Which Size Do I Need?
Royfort flat sheets come in 180x290, 240x300 and 280x320 cm. As a rule of thumb, a flat sheet should extend at least 25 to 30 cm beyond the mattress edge on every side so it can be tucked in neatly. 180x290 cm usually suits single beds, 240x300 cm double beds up to 180 cm wide, and 280x320 cm wide or deep double beds and box spring beds.
Caring for Royfort Flat Sheets
Please follow the care label for all Royfort flat sheets. Cotton and linen can generally be washed at 60 °C; for cashmere cotton and linen, a gentle programme without fabric softener is recommended. Hang linen up while still slightly damp or smooth it out by hand to reduce creasing.
