Terry towels made of 100% cotton – the material properties
Weseta towels are made of 100% cotton, sourced under strict criteria from selected cotton-growing regions. The advantages of this quality:
- very good moisture absorption – ideal for terry
- soft, skin-friendly and breathable fibres
- long, long-staple fibres ensure hard-wearing, tear-resistant yarns
Because long-staple cotton is used, the yarns need to be spun from fewer individual fibres – this makes the fabric more robust, more durable and at the same time pleasantly soft. This small but decisive difference from industrial terry production is one of the secrets behind why Weseta towels retain their properties over many years.

Dreamflor has been the most successful Weseta towel range for over 40 years and a Swiss classic. In a special weaving process, a very open, lightly twisted cotton is used in the pile yarn – this makes the fabric incomparably soft, extremely absorbent and airily light. A classic meander border, woven in on Jacquard looms, does not warp even with frequent washing. Dreamflor has a weight of 420 g/m² and is available in 28 colours and 11 sizes – making it by far the most varied line for a fully coordinated bathroom.
Weseta Dreampure
Dreampure is likewise produced in the typical Weseta weaving process. The towels are soft, hard-wearing and deliberately pared back – without borders or embellishments. Weseta Puro

Caring for Weseta towels
With the right care, colours and fluffiness are preserved over many years:

- Wash temperature: 60 degrees is recommended for textiles worn close to the body – this sets the colours and ensures hygiene. Colour changes today often arise from wash temperatures that are too low, not too high
- Detergent: for coloured terry, use a colour detergent without optical brighteners
- Fabric softener: avoid where possible, as it clogs the terry fibres and reduces absorbency
- Tumble dryer: drying in the tumble dryer at a moderate temperature makes the towels especially fluffy – avoid high temperatures and over-long drying
- Spin: low spin speeds are generally sufficient
- Pulled threads: can be carefully snipped off without damaging the loop fabric

How do I care for Weseta towels?
Wash at 60 degrees, with a colour detergent without optical brighteners. Separate light and dark colours. No fabric softener, no chlorine bleach. In the tumble dryer at a moderate temperature for especially fluffy results. Wash before first use.
Why no fabric softener?
Fabric softener lays a film around the terry fibres and reduces their most important function – water absorption. Instead, simply dry in the tumble dryer; this makes the towels fluffy without loss of absorbency.
How long do Weseta towels last?
With good care, Weseta towels last many years and retain their absorbency, softness and shape retention. The special finishing prevents any warping of the borders even after many washes.
