Which size is the right one?

Cushions come in many sizes - each size has its own character and area of use:

• 30 × 50 cm (oblong): elegant accent variant, ideal as a lumbar cushion at the end of the sofa
• 40 × 40 cm: the compact standard size - ideal for mixed sofa styling
• 45 × 45 cm: the most common standard size - good for most sofas
• 50 × 50 cm: comfortable and generous - ideal as a main cushion

A tried-and-tested rule of thumb: mix different sizes for a lively sofa look. Three to five cushions in two or three sizes look particularly harmonious - for example two large 50 × 50 cm cushions, one elongated 30 × 50 cm accent, plus a few smaller ones as a mix.

• no fabric softener with wool and natural hair - it damages the fibre structure
• wash covers inside out where possible to protect colours and surfaces
• air and shake them out regularly, this keeps the cushions fresh
• avoid direct sunlight when storing - this protects the colours
