• In case of soiling: wool wash programme at 30 °C or hand wash – with a special wool detergent
• No ordinary detergent: normal detergent damages the wool fibres
• No fabric softener: it damages the fibre structure and reduces the natural properties of the wool
• Dry flat: do not put wool in the tumble dryer – otherwise it will felt or shrink
• Protect from direct sunlight: intense UV light can bleach out the colours over time
• Store in a breathable way: do not wrap it in plastic, but in a fabric bag or leave it open
• Moth protection: when storing for longer periods, take care with moth protection – essential oils such as cedarwood or lavender are a natural alternative
